Tell Tales
Saturday 21st October
Fine day with a 12 to 15 knot southerly wind, rather cool with choppy seas. 6 boats took part in the events. The first event was a short course race. This started at 1.30 pm. Gary and Matt in Nike II won this event because they were the only contenders!
The main race of the day started at 1.55 pm , two boats missed the start of this, hopefully not next week as the race does start on time.
Bernie and Bob were on duty boat for the day, had a good day, all enjoyed the conditions of the day and the social gathering at the club house waiting for the end results.
Results:
First Interlude 60.98
Second NYAWB 61.37
Third Tumbleweed 61.39
Town Bike had a late start but did well with 62.57 – look what next week could do.
Windswept 64.87 and Nike II 64.90
We look forward to more boats on the water next week, don’t forget the race starts promptly at 1.55 pm
Boat duty for next week is Tumbleweed.
Any interested sailors are welcome to join our races each Saturday. Briefing time 12.30 pm at club house.
Go Sailing.
